If I get her to eat her greens she'll be okay? I just found the food processor (after a year!) so hopefully I can shred up the greens better. She's not very active and usually lays when basking (don't most iguana's stand/sit?). She will however climb up to her first platform, and then go over to his other one which has the heat lamp over it (during the day she stays under the UVB light a lot too). Today I even caught her climbing on the door (which is good I guess). She also runs like crazy when I put my hand in her cage (she even bit me yesterday!). I think she thinks the new cage has given her some kind of freedom.
The vet also gave me a list of foods to feed her and under the calcium foods part here's the "calcium foods" list- tell me if these are good for iguanas (I want to double check):
turnip greens, mustard greenns, collard greens, beet greens, kale, bok choy, Swiss chard, dandelion greens, parsley, romaine, escarole, and alfalfa pellets
Will Zabouri ever get to be the the right SVL for her age if I get her to eat more greens?
