Well I was examining Floyds toes last night as i cut some of his razor sharp nails. He has three bad ones~ One had been broken and then healed backwards~~ So his claw hangs the wrong way~ The other two do not have any nails~ I looked closely at one though and could see what looked to be a tiny claw!(fingers crossed it will grow back)His other toes seem to be working better now that he can climb around his cage. I felt bad trimming what nails he had because they help him to climb~ But my arms and back are ripped open so i had to do it. He is very heavy and basically digs into me pretty easily just trying to get comfy or trying to be on my shoulder! One thing i noticed was his super long tongue!?~Miya my younger ig(about 3 feet long including tail)only has about half that size~ not sure what is the normal? But anyway I try and pull my hair back so he doesn't get it all in his mouth~ So he licks at the back of my neck!ACKKK!~ I am a little learly of this licking(even though he seems totally sweet) I am just used to Miya and he doesn't lick all that much~ and if he licks me a couple times its usually followed by a bite!LOL~ Floyds cage is outside right now~ Even though it does have wheels so could go anywhere~ We are having strange cooler temps this week so last night i brought floyd in and after roaming for a few minutes he settled down on the back of the rocking chair and went to sleep(its got my big down jacket on it so its nice and soft) So i let him sleep there for the night~ I can already tell this is going to be a habit!hehehe~
