Whatever you do, DO NOT take it to the Rainforest Reptile Refuge Society in Surrey. While they started out with noble goals, they are along the PETA lines that NO ONE should own ANY wild animal, no matter what.

Have also heard several reports of neglect and abuse at their hands of reptiles. They simply do not have the knowledge or funding to properly care for all that they have, and imho, donating your ig to them would be a death sentence for it.

Post on the Canada forums, and I am sure that one of the several BC residents there can help you out.
