Lunging problem

I have had Myyaa for over three years, I am guessing she is about four, and about 31/2 feet long. She has never lunged at me or bit me, her new thing is lunging at my hand when i grab her plate to feed her. She is not sick or anything, just getting fiesty aroun feeding time, any suggestions on how to break this habit?
