Nose rubbing

Help! I cannot get my iguana to stop rubbing his nose. I've been using an anteseptic on it. It seems to scab over after a few days and then he will rub it down to the bone or bare skin again! Will this cause a permanent deformity(ie. his lower lip sticks out a bit further than his upper lip due to lack of scales there). I know it's not his living conditions because he has a huge cage (6'x4'x3') basking area of 94 degrees, plenty of uvb light etc. Do some iguanas just try to escape sometimes.
