If he's a big guy he'll wanna get up high....check trees closest to his cage, look for irregular patterns in the leaves (they camoflauge well)as much as 25 feet up. Check roof or ways he can get up it. He's prolly just sitting watching you freak! He'll be on the move if the trees don't offer him anything good to eat. Check with neighbors as he may have scaled a wall or leaped over...post flyers around the neighborhood, local humane society. Enlist neighorhood kids to hunt for him...they LOVE that stuff Offer them a small reward for whoever finds him. Give it some time, but look everyday a couple of times a day in case he's moved. He'll be with ya again Im sure. If you have dogs keep them tied up or in the house for the time being...expect ig to behave poorly ...be dehydrated, cold, hungry...warm him up gradually and give him a chance to reacclimate himself to his routine. Make sure his cage is secure...Invest $10 on a PetScope necklace..from like a PetCo or PetSmart. Its a microscopic ID tag theyre great! Both my igs wear em 24/7 ...has vet name & phone number, diet info,their name, my address, phone number & name,health precautions, behavior issues etc worth it especially if ya have yer ig outdoors or unsupervised even for a minute! Keep us posted!
