Ive just seen them used as the chain on bathtub plugs...they connect to the spout & end of the plug(?)
Ive also seen surfers wear them for their St. Christophers
or Army guys use em for their dog tags

Maybe someone knows the name of them! Sorta looks like this o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o and adjustable to any length using a needlenose plier (cutting end) or wire cutters...slip the ends in a little doodad..lolol...ah forget it!
Suppose any strong thin chain would work as long as the tag is not hanging but with about 1/4 of an inch leeway.
Anyway...both igs wear them outside, inside, while hanging out in neighbors citrus trees, climbing, falling, leaping, swimming, and have never gotten caught in anything YET!
I have pictures of em wearing them...just too darn lazy to figure out how to scan them! Scanner is still in the box! from 2 years ago! Im a computer idiot. Why I haven't bought a digital camera yet..I prolly won't even use it! If it wasn't for the super nice folks here I would of never figured out how to link something on my posts lolol
