Hello Tasha......is it possible that your baby iguana is about to have his/her first shed since he/she has come to live with you? As small iguanas they tend to shed all at once so they will get an all over "funky" look to them just before they shed. When they are older it almost seems as if some part of them is about to shed every week.

There are several good websites regarding iguana care and diet. If you have not read them as yet, you might read one or two and do a double check of your set up and the diet you are feeding. Several of us refer to a site run by Melissa Kaplan. And there's one called The Iguana Den and one run by Jennifer Swafford...and I'm probably missing someone.
