There are several things that can cause your ig to have a brown color. One is if your ig is not warm enough he will turn dark to help aborb more light and heat. The second thing maybe stress since you have only had your ig for a short time it might still be ajusting to its new home. It could also be the diet. If you check out the forum you will find lots of links or sites that are great for learning pretty much everything you need to know for caring for your ig. You can add some yellow or orange squash for beta-carotine to help with your ig's color if that is the problem.
