yes, it will still affect the temp in the aquarium ... i wouldn't think it would be as much as if it were outside in the summer, BUT .... i'm not sure ... if you do go for it, just make sure you monitor the temp VERY carefully til you know for sure .... and where *I* live, too close to the window this time of year means too COLD ....
