I have been considering putting my iquanas tank (his is about 7 months old and lives in a 30L gallon tank)directly i front of a windows. The window itself will be closed but the blinds will be open to allow sunlight in. I know he won't get much UV (this isn't to replace his normal lighting) but the psychological effects of the light may be benifical.
My question is will this have the same effect of super-heating the tank like it would if I put the tank outside in the sun. I know temperatures will heat up rapidly in direct sunlight, but will they heat up as much with the windows closed? Thanks.
