I would never recommend anyone to stick their hand in Harry's cage.....cause if they did, the next place parts of that person's hand would be the emergency room! Harry's already bit a hole clean through our pair of welding gloves.
Also, recently a caretaker in SC was attacked by a male iguana and will have to have plastic surgery on her arm. Dangerous??? Most definitely, you'd be a fool not to keep some guard up during close encounters with these reptiles. Harry was a mellow dude one day, the next day.......BAM..full blown breeding season and all he wanted to do is attack Sue2 and I, mostly me at first.
So if I may, please don't recommend or should I say, suggest that iguanas can't seriously bite and are not that dangerous; you're setting people up with false facts!
