I was talking to someone at work today and they mentioned that they have a pair of adult Bearded Dragon's and a young Iguana that they keep in the same enclosure. She said it was a large aquarium type enclosure that she guessed at 100 gal or so but wasn't sure. I didn't know you could keep Beardie's and Iguana's together. They put them together a week ago when the Iguana kept escaping from it's old temporary enclosure. She said they do okay together so far.
What is your opinion on this?? I would appriciate any replies.
I am asking because I have Bearded dragons as well as 2 Iguana's. I am going to build a large outdoor sunning cage and want to know if I can sun my young Iguana with the Beardies so I don't have to build a second cage as planned. I would only keep them together for a couple hours a day while they sun.
I had never even thought of putting them together before.
