Help! My husband and I have had a male green iguna for about 3 yrs. He is probably 3 1/2 to 4 yrs old. Recently, although not all the time, he has been acting very aggresive to both of us (he even recently gave me 8 stiches in my nose from a bite!). He also will give anyone and anything the territorial head nod but up until recently this meant nothing and he was always a very easy iguna to handle. Nothing in his diet or environment has changed to our knowledge. What would make him act in this manner? Is this a stage he is going through or is he always going to act in this manner? We don't have any kids yet, but will eventually and don't want any child to get injured from our iguana.
