Sexual maturity is upon you. He may improve after a few weeks or months. I bet if you check the spores on his rear legs, you will find that they are secreating a waxy substance. Typical male heat. The best thing to do as you have found out is to be very cautious around him. I would recommend James Hatfields book on ways to handle this, but the fact is some Igs are difficult and I don't think you really know for sure how they are going to turn out until they reach full maturity around 6-7 years.
