Sounds like its continuing to necrotize (die), tail rot; dry gangrene. Watch for scales to begin to collapse into itself, shrivel up, get hard, black-dark brn like a dried up piece of dead twig.Hydrogen Peroxide is okay in a pinch...but has been found to destroy healthy tissue as well as affected/infected tissue so isn't recommended using long term. If his tail is still pliable; flexible, vascular...I'd continue with the treatments your vet has perscribed oh that's right...no treatment was perscribed...I'll e-mail you.
