E-mail Active UVHeat from their website. I had the pleasure of meeting the two owners at a reptile show last fall. They are the nicest guys! and so professional! They will calm any fears, snail-mail you any literature/specs on their product. I have 2 lamps that I run during the winter for 3 hours a day ONLY set on timers. I tore down those bulky flourescent hoods! Hallelujah! Cost comparable to low level uvb emission of 4 foot flourecent lamps. At reptile shows you can get a $10 discount on the lamps. I have a 300 watt flood (can only get a 275 watt now) which is 4 feet away from Feos backside in a 7x5x3 enclosure ( lamp screwed on inside his enclosure in a porcelin ceiling mount fixture) . And a 160 watt flood 2 feet from Juana in her 6x4x3 enclosure (extender used because of screen top as bulb protrudes under the hood). There is NO UVC emitted as claimed by so called iguana "experts". But you or your ig should not sit there and stare at the lamps for extended periods. Something me and my igs don't do anyway! These bulbs are the greatest..Ive used them 2 winters thus far...and the only "damage" Ive seen from their use is I got a nasty burn on back of my hand when I touched it after cleaning Feo's enclosure 10 minutes after it went off. They do get HOT. Igs get warmth and UVB throughout the winter, colors, appetite, health, totally improved from previous winter slowdowns/funk. They can be used year round...but I don't have a need to.. my igs get natural unfiltered sunlight exposure at least a couple days a week rest of year. It all depends on what you need. Email the owners at ActiveUV they will respond to ANY questions you have. They would not be doing so much business IF they were not GOOD! I think they would be perfect for your VIVs Bosse...but you'd also have to check if they ship internationally...don't know.
