Some questions about iguanas

1. What can I do about abcesses on iguanas, and why do they appear?
2. Is there a way to get rid of mites(iguanas are freeroaming)?

3.How fast do they grow? I have a couple four and five year olds, and they are only about 31/2 ft.the female, and 4 ft.(the male). Is that normal?
