Female Iguana Gravid and May be EGG BOUND!!!!!!!!!

Hello
I have a friend who has a 2.5 year old female iguana.She laid one egg 3 days ago and has not laid any since.Is this normal??
I told her to set up a large deep storage bin with half sand half soil(as this is what i use for my bearded dragons)but the iguana dug around for a few minutes and has been ignoring it since(two days).She has now told me that her iguana hasent eaten for about a week and is swole so much that you can see many egg shapes in her.how likely would you say it is that she is egg bound??Also other than soaking in warm water(didnt work)what can she try out side of seeing a vet(May be inevetable).I have heard things about lubricating the vent,has any one tried this or anything else that was efective??
