The shedding layers, Cant remmber where I read it but Wanted to CHECK WAY BEFORE I tried it. Its layer built up as the vet checked it out just seems to be a bit more than her check up. Double D seemed to really enjoy being helped shedding. Yeah those nostril parts just pop right out we had that happen three times and weve only had her almost 2 months now. I havent seen any shedding on her eye lids yet though. Oh Yeah DD defintly lets me know when shes had enough LOL, ive got the marks on my hands to prove it when she wants down she wants it NOW no if's ands or butts about it LOL. All though I make her wait till shes calmed down then I let her down.

: I don't think you ever want to put anything on it except water (warm soaks). I'd have to see to know if it's shed build up on the tail, but I know the tail shed on the bottom is very thick anyway (much thicker than the sides of their body) Usually the tail seems to come off little by little in sections each day-- it may take awhile. Sleestack's stomach doesn't shed as much as the rest of him either, but his face sheds like crazy! I help him peel-- probably much to his dismay LOL. I can't stop, I'm addicted and very good at it as I've been doing it for around 10 years. The nostrils are the best! (pop right out when they are ready) I gently help with their eyelids because they scratch and scratch with their back leg since it bothers them so much-- I'd rather they not catch one of their nails in the eye. It sounds like you were helping out as well. Iguanas will let you know when they've had enough help-- (Sleestack will move away or kick my hand out of the way!)
