I am sorry I cannot be much help in this case as I do not have a collard lizard, but the logical answer would be to take him to a qualified herp vet for blood work (that's what I would do for any other lizard I have). This would show you what his deficiencies are (MBD etc.). I am also thinking although collard lizards eat protein, that dogfood may not be the best choice of foods. It sounds like you are doing the right thing with replacing your UV bulb (do you use Zoomed?-- these emit a higher level of UV light). I have a bearded dragon so I know that they need a variety of insects and veggies (just worms is no good, but I understand because mine is a VERY finicky veggie eater and I worry about him getting a balanced diet) Anyway, hopefully someone else will have more insight-- someone who keeps this breed, but just in case no one responds-- I didn't want you to think you would be ignored!
