gravid iguana

hi
i was woundering why would robert's female lay infertile eggs (if they are ) now when he just got my male over there and not before he has had here for about a year or so besides the olny thing differnt is the male and he resently got a alfalfa bale for his sulcatas that she like to try to dig in to .

p.s. i don't kow if this will help but he got the male and the alfalfa over there the same day about 2 or 3 weeks ago
