Well, Saci, Iguanas lay infertile eggs for the same reasons that chickens do. Female iguanas have the eggs inside them, but if the eggs never get fertilized they go bad. Since the female iguana has no use for these unfertalized eggs so they lay them. Theres more to it than that, but you get the gist of it.
