Aggresive Baby Green Iguanas

I recently bought 2 baby green iguanas from a local pet shop, and they seem very nervous and aggresive. I've been trying to tame them down, but to no avail. It would be a bit easier if I could get closer to them, but they see a person in the room and start to flip out, and whip at the glass with their tails. Could someone please give me a few tips on how to tame these savage lizards. Thanks for any help.
