You need to get them used to you when they are young so you do not end up with a monster on your hands. Just SLOWLY put yor hand in the tank and take them out. put them in the bath tub for awhile let them work out some energy and relax.You need to work with them, that is the most important part. Do this while they are young or it will be alot harder later. The bigger the Igg the bigger the welts and teeth.

: I have read that as a juv. iguana grows in size, they start to become less nervous and therefore easier to handle and tame. I was wondering that if my babies don't calm down enough for me to even get close to them, if it would be suitable to let them get a little bit of size to them, and then put the effort into taming. Also I was wondering if it works to put a towel or blanket around the glass to help them adjust and calm down a little bit.
