: i dont know what happened with him either he also would not drink on his own and when i gave him water witha syrings he drank like crazy then threw it back up. it was the most heartbreaking thing i have ever seen. and thanks alot for the info i was really told wrong. even the books i read were wrong. the books told me commercial food was best that misting cage once a day was fine. when i bought him the store told me that his ribs were sticking out becausae he was wild caught and stressed. if only i had known then what i know now.they also told me that a heat rocks were definitly neede to help them digest there food.i really want to try again i ahve a cage that was built when i bought the first one that has stood empty. it is about 5 and a half feet tall and 4 foot wide 3 foot deep. would i need something bigger or should i throw that one away? thanks for everyones help BTW i live in southeastern virginia. i looked at a list of herp vets and found some in va beach. and i would rather adopt one now than going thru the pet store expierence again. (lol lotsa typos)
