Depending on what size ig you decide to adopt, you have the beginnings of a great enclosure there, Liz. At the very least, it sounds like a great temporary setup for an adoptee and if you find an ig small enough you COULD get a year or two out of the enclosure.
You can always try www.arav.org if you haven't seen it yet for herp vets. I'm sure that we can get you back up and running again as soon as you're up to it...;)
