I'd never discount an iguana's ability to learn, nor the tub pooping method. However, I personally prefer that they use something else than my bathtub. Whether it is a large bin, or a bathtub, the basic idea is the same that an iguana is a creature of habit, and easily adaptable to both of these.

But, because I have the option of a bedroom for the igs to live in, there is more than enough room to have a potty in there with them, and IMHO it makes more sense to do so.
