OK- My friend recently purchased a green iguana from a pet store because she liked mine. (He's 3 1/2 yrs. and doing great!) Anyway, the Iguana she purchased was a so-called "Blue Diamond" Iguana from Fluker Farms. He is about 12 inches long and he does indeed have a lot of blue in his skin. However, Fluker Farms claimed "The Iguana will stay blue IF you feed it our special Blue Diamond food." This sounds a little fishy to me. First of all, God only knows WHAT is IN that food, but I DO know that blue pigmentation is not natural. Secondly, the food is expensive and strange-looking. I do not think my friend should feed her Iguana this food. I think she should let nature take it's course so that, if possible, she can raise a healthy Iguana. What do you all think about these "Blue Diamonds" and their "special food"?
