My green iguana was very very blue as a baby too. They said she was from El salvador.
But the so called "Blue Diamond" iguanas are just regular old green iguanas, they all fade when they grow up
regardless what they are fed.
Color really is not that important as long as the iguana is healthy.
All healthy igs are beautiful!!!
PS. the only iguana that becomes bright blue as an adult is the true Blue Iguana,
which is a completely different species. Cyclura nubila lewisi or the nubila crosses.
Dustin who posted previously is one of the breeders of this species.
