Iguana Diets!

This is getting rediculous. I've kept reptiles all my life. I've just recently started keeping two juvenille green iguanas. I've looked in books, on the internet, and asked people what their diet should consist of. I have gotten so many contradictions it's not funny. I've never had this problem researching other reptile diets(except maybe uromastyx, and I still didn't have this much trouble). Do you feed them animal protien? Is Kale good to feed them all the time? Is spinach good for them? These are just a few of the questions that I have NO CLUE what the correct answer should be. And no matter how many people reply to this telling me they know FOR SURE what to feed them I'm not going to know whether or not it's really the truth. Not to say that these people are liers. They are just misinformed. How is someone supposed to give thier iguana the correct diet if there are so many different people and supposedly 'experts' saying so many different things that contradict what other people and 'experts' say? I don't know who to believe anymore. The only resort left to find the REAL TRUTH about the iguana diet would be to go to South America and live among them from birth to death in their natural environment.
