Hello. I understand how you feel about the ig diets. I went throught the very same feelings. I read all kinds of web info, and books. I just used my judjement at the end. I personally choose not to feed my ig any animal protien. I know a woman who gave her adult ig a pinky once a month, and he is healthy and happy. But, thats not my choice. I have read how its dangerous, so I choose not to. About the greens, I dont use kale. To be really honest, I forgot why. I just use Mustard, Collard, and sometimes turnip greens. I just choose those because they are calcium rich, and the ig loves em. They are easy to find in the store too. I make a salad that my ig likes. I just get fresh green beans (lots of em), speghetti squash, acorn squash, and sometimes a banana squash, parsnips or asparagas (which ever is available) 1 zucchini (cus he likes it) one small yellow squash (cus he likes it) and a large cantaloupe. I put it all in the food processor. Its kinda like the MK salad. But, I have kinda changed it over time. My ig hates leeks, I used to throw those in the mix too. Sometimes, I like to buy him something different. He usually welcomes it. Like, I gave him some Swiss chard, he loved it. I have tried mango and papaya, but, nope, he hates it. So, you see, over time, you will find out what your ig likes. All I did was get info from different sources, and combine it myself. I realize this posting is huge! Good luck! Yvette
