"snakes have teeth?"
"cornsnakes, do they eat corn?"
"iquanas don't have teeth, and if they did they aren't strong enough to do any damage"
"if its got a lot of coloring, it must be poisonous" (referring to snakes)
"burmese pythons get 15-20 ft? i didn't think this applied to mine" (person bought a burm)
"my 4 foot gator gets plenty of exercise in his 55 gallon tub"
"after my_(insert large reptile here)_____gets to big i will call the zoo and they will take it"
these are just some of the many funny/sad things that i have had customers say to me. hope this helps. i am sure i will think of some more later.
p.s. i might be wrong but snakes do unhinge their jaws to swallow large prey. right? anyone?
