14 y/o Iguana just stopped using his back legs..Whats wrong?

I have a 14 year old iguana today 10/31/98 I noticed he no longer using his back legs ? he now uses his front legs and drags his rear legs. A few days ago he was fine what could have happend?
Anyone have any ideas/suggestions .
