Harry's Dad called me self-centered, well then, so are you as well. By adopting an ig....i see you can have your cake and eat it too. You can espouse why it's so bad to have an iguana for a pet while having one yourself. You so warmly welcome abused/mistreated igs into your home when some people could see that as a convenient dumping point for their big ig. Then, they can just get another one. Now you'll have a never ending supply of new adoptable pets. Instead, you shouldn't have any iguanas and should be spending your time teaching others about alternative pets that are more acceptable. What is the point of this forum but to provide answers/suggestions about the care of these animals. The hostility that I've received belongs on the Iguana Awareness Day forum.
