Stress on Iguana when moving into new home, new parents...

OK, I will most likely be adopting the Iguana that I mentioned a few posts below. I have done enough research to satisfy myself, and I think I am ready to take this guy on. I am so excited!! Dont know if I will be able to wait till after thanksgiving to take him!

But anyway, my final concern is moving him into his new home. What can I expect? I understand he may turn color, lose apetite for a fwe days or weeks even? And... the possibility of him going into hiding for a while? He will be primarily a free roamer... What are other people's experiences with this, and what can I expect? I am hoping he can adjust quickly... I want to see him happy as soon as possible :)
