Since your similis is tame, can you introduce the bowl to her out of the enclosure? During interaction time, offer her food from this bowl. I know I often have my igs in the kitchen and sometimes will offer them a snack from something other than what they are used to. The container never seems to be a problem. Also, is the bowl stainless steel? Maybe it's the bright shiny stainless she doesn't like. Can you find a ceramic or pottery type dish to fit in the holder?
