Horn Nosed Iguanas?

My ig has 2 little horns at the tip of his nose.
The one behind is bigger then the one in the front.
I was told this is due to the region of origin
(central america). Is this BS or is there some
truth to what I was told? I did notice that my
ig looks a little different then some of the ones
I've seen posted here. Does anybody have any pic
or links to other horned nosed ig's?
