One of my local petstores is selling an adult iguana for 25 bucks, but their also selling juviniles for 25 dollars and in other places Ive seen adults going for around $100 or so...The store condition is shall we say lousy but iguana looks healthy, alert etc.Its kept in a rather small cage and Im thinking of giving it a good home.I work at an animal hospital which has a rather good exotics vet and I get pretty much free care so if it turns out to be sick theres no problem fixing it
(if it can be)Ive had experience with invertebrates and amphibs
but not much with reptiles so Im looking to see if anyone could
help me out with pros or cons of getting this iguana, also is it normal to see a 3.5 foot iguana for $25????
Thanks for any help
Ian
