I think what most people have seen is that you almost can't give an adult iguana away. Even though everyone here loves their igs, most people seem to want to get rid of them when they reach 3 to 4 ft in length.

If your thinking about getting an iguana, first I certainly hope you have done your research. If not, there are a couple extremely good sites we can give you a link to. If after the research you still want an adult iguana there are people on this forum that can help get you one for free. A lot of people here take in rescues, bring them back to health, and then try to find good homes. I believe the hard part is finding GOOD homes.

Anyway its something to think about.
