in regards to wire cage and keeping warm

i live in florida and have a porch, need to say more, it just gets extremely hot here and my porch doesnt drop below 75 at night and reaches temps of 85-95 during the day. That is the only reason i am considering wire. i would love to have one made of plexiglass but it just seems so hard to keep clean. does your ig poop in the same spot everytime, mine doesnt so it is a constant mess and i figured with plexiglass i would have to put in a bunch of branches since there would be no wire to climb and i would have to constantly take everythign out and clean it. plus with a wire cage i canhave a pull out tray with plexiglass, what do you use on the bottom like green turf or something?
