I wish I were in a warm climate that I could keep them in a LARGE wire cage. The plexi isnt hard to clean at all. I use a mild soap & water. And right now my juvenile poops where he pleases... but mainly on the bottom of the cage. I use green turf as it is easy to clean. I was using chips & other sorts of things but found it messy & worried about his eating it. The turf seems to help keep in humidity as well. Stone seems very happy. Right now he is too young to be a free roamer... hopefully when he grows up. Actually, I am not sure it is a he or she yet. Still too young. I miss having an adult & I am looking to adopt one.
