I would say that you have a traumatized ig, her reaction is normal. Igs hate change, they want a very secure environment. Igs get moody if you change the color of the blanket on their perch! You can get a tame ig back, but it will take time.
Another thing to consider, was the ig physically injured? An ig that is in pain will react defensively as well. Might want to think about a vet visit to make sure that is not the case.
