If he's still small enough, you can still work with him. When my Baby was about 8 months old he bit me for the first time. Then a few months later, he bit me again. I read on this forum of someone who put a bandage on their finger when thier Ig was smaller and let it get the biting out of it's system. This has worked for me so far (knock on wood!). I put a thick bandage on my forefinger and let him know I wasn't afraid to get bit. He tried a few times and he hasn't bitten me since. That's been about 6 months now. I hope you know that not all of us are mature Iguana owners and are learning along with you! It's good you came to the forum to ask for advice. Hope you heal quickly and can form a wonderful bond with your Iguana. They are worth it!!!! Good luck, J
