I agree with Bon and your vet, a run of oral
Baytril is a good idea to knock out any possible
infection. You might also ask your vet about a
shot or oral run of Prednisone to minimize any
inflammation of the kidney tissues. Even if the
kidneys don't seem much enlarged, the Prednisone
can help stop further tissue damage.
I'm glad Draco is eating some. That's a good sign.
About the liquid though, I think you might need to
take more of a proactive approach to getting the
proper amount of fluids into him. I doubt he'll
drink the amount he needs from a bowl.
Unfortunately, that means giving the fluids by
syringe (or tube or needle, but you don't want to
go there).
Fluids are especially important while an iguana's
on antibiotics. While Baytril is better than most,
all antibiotics put stress on the kidneys, so you
need to help flush the drugs through his system
with extra fluids.
From the blood results, it looks like you may have
caught Draco's problem early, which makes it much
easier to treat.
