At our house, we have assigned various tasks for our lizards while we're at work.

1. Lola starts dinner for us.
2. Harry vacuums.
3. Hazel folds the laundry.
4. Jack dusts.
5. Our chuckwalla, bearded dragon and collared lizards are too small to do any chores.

If you're lizards have only learned to exit and re-enter their enclosures, they sound like they are a little slow in their development. You might consider hiring a tutor for yours Cliff.
