Question for Sue2 regarding Jack's dusting technique....

Bubbles and Foster share the dusting duties around here but I'm having trouble with them completing the task. They remove everything from the surface that needs to be dusted(rather than dusting around them) but they never replace them when they're done. I always find the knickknacks and books on the floor where they left them. Any suggestions??
