thanks for your warm reception bj and pushy--i am not really interested in selling this animal, hence the super high pricetag--and yes b.j, we are raising up 5 normal colombians to attempt breeding-you two are really rude--ifi was advertisng in here i would have linked my animal pages with a pile of pictures of animals for sale--i was simply contributing to the forum which i had planned to begin frequenting, to get feeedback possible from anyone else who has raised this rare abberant form of iguana, but your rudeness has left a horrible taste in my mouth.So instead of receiving information and contributing what i learn from this animal, i would just as soon avoid it altogether. I take personal offense to your comments and would hope that you do not treat all newcomers this way. Just because i am a reptile dealer, does not mean that i do not keep an enjoy reptiles-the reason i am a full time reptile dealer is because i love and admire most reptiles, and have enjoyed keeping them for 20 years. I have quite a few "pet" reptiles that i often put a shocker high price tag on just as an attention getter-i don't want to sell them, and would never expect anyone to pay the outrageous pricetag i put on them but people love to see them(i.e.albino nile monitor-$50,000-give me a break). There were 3 other albino iguanas sold this year for under $4000, andi am asking $10,000 for mine-HENCE I AM NOT REALLY INTERESTD IN SELLING IT!!!-i am interestd in any information that courteous people with iguanas, might be able to offer as advise with breeding, care, vitamin combinations-diet-etc. THANK YOU TO ALL THE POSITIVE COMMENTS AND E-MAILS.
