Thanks for answering. After feeling hopeless all morning, I got him to eat! He ate about a half a plateful which is remarkable compared to the last 2 wks. (he had escarole and sweet potatoes). I also put him on the porch to soak up some of the humid air. I hope it isn't kidney failure as I said, he is very alert and moving around. I got some water into him through a syringe, also. Still no BM but maybe if I put him in some water it'll get things going. Could it be a "virus" or something and not kidney failure??? I can only hope it can be cured with antibiotics!!

PS-this vet came recommended by the herp society, that's why I went to her.
