With iguanas, it's never too late to try. I've
known plenty of instances where people have
socialized or potty trained adult igs. In fact,
I've done it myself.

As for the best method, that depends on where
you want your ig to poop. I'm currently training
a 9-month-old iguana to poop in the tub. For
training, I simply put the little guy in a couple
inches of warm water in the tub at the same time
every day. Currently, we're successful a little
more than half the time, which I think is pretty
good for a juvenile. With time, I hope and expect
him to improve.
